You and your family will enjoy leisurely riding on the flat, level trails, where you may catch a glimpse of deer, wild turkey, moose, bears and a variety of other wildlife; you just don’t get to see in the city. For more adventurous riders, steep mountainous terrains offer challenging thrills.

The ATV has been is giving snowmobile tourism a run for its money in becoming one of the dominating sports in Haliburton and Muskoka. The Firehouse Sports Resort is geared for the sports minded enthusiast offering complete packages including accommodations and food. Unload your trailer and park you bike at the front door of your cottage.

After dealing with the issues of hotels and places to park, we realized that we needed to do something. Then the idea of an ATV sports resort was born and The Firehouse Resort Keeping up with the changing tourism industry and wants and needs of sportsman and women. The Firehouse got its humble beginnings from 1996. We wanted to create a safe haven for ATV enthusiasts and their vehicles (of all kinds), where they could feel safe to ride and play at their leisure. Firehouse Sports Resort is designed entirely for the all-terrain vehicle enthusiast. Our cabins are even designed so that the riders can drive and park their ATVs directly up to their cabin.

Whether with family or friends, we can assure you that your memories created here will last a lifetime of the Firehouse and family weekends. So we will see your family or group year to year. We are offering that atmosphere that makes you want to return and meet new friends that will last a life time. Bringing friends together that has the same passion for loving life and the great outdoors.

Renter & Riders Checklist

For your own safety, as well as others, we have provided a checklist to help you remember items that you must bring to enjoy the ATV resort.

Note: Minors must have their own parent/legal guardian complete the Firehouse Sports Resort Ride Release Form. If you are a minor or are bringing a minor on premises’ for whom you are not the legal guardian, the Firehouse Sports Resort Release Form must be filled out completely and NOTORIZED by the legal parent/guardian before arriving.

HHATVA Trail Permits can be purchased at the Firehouse Pub.

To ensure the quality of your stay, we have provided a checklist of items that will make your visit and rides along the Haliburton and Muskoka trails more enjoyable. We are a recreational waterfront resort that offers the perfect getaway for groups of sports & outdoor enthusiasts. The perfect year round playground from phones and the day to day. ATV and snowmobile trails. The Firehouse Pub is on sight to offer some of the best live entertainment in the industry. We offer a great menu with a licensed lakeside family dining with a spectacular view of the sunset from the pub patio or from your Muskoka chair on your dock. A summer of fantastic festivals and family tournaments awaits you and your family. We are located 1.5kms from the pine spring trail and directly on the Top B snowmobile trail. The firehouse is pet friendly to people friendly pets. We are $35pp per night based on minimum requirement for rentals. All cottages have 3 piece washroom facilities, filter water system, full size fridges and BBQ on the waterfront decks. We have a 40 foot crib dock for relaxing on the water.

Breakfast is offered between 8am till 12pm Dinner package are available between 5pm till 10pm. Our recently refinished waterfront housekeeping cottages with 3 piece bathrooms and kitchens. Each cabin has single beds and comfy futons. (DVD players and DVDs are available for rental) Full size fridges in each unit. BBQ’s and propane are also available for rent. We supply linens and blankets. What you will need to bring is pillows and towels.

Total accommodations are as follows: 4 cabins throughout the cottages are 9 single beds 7 double beds/futons. Each cottage has 3 piece bathrooms, full size fridges, hot plates, toasters, microwaves Coffee makers, televisions, DVD players.

Haliburton ATV association has the largest mapped, signed and insured trail system in Ontario. The club works hand in hand with Haliburton Snowmobile Association. HATVA Trails are located throughout Haliburton and Muskoka, Kawartha, Peterborough, and Madawaska regions. 3000km of mapped trails. Trail difficulty varies from forest access roads to extreme deep woods paths that require winches as standard equipment. Haliburton ATV trail passes available for day week and annual family passes.
